The session will focus on new challenges for greener, sustainable, and efficient long-distance road freight transport and heavy vehicles management on highways. High capacity vehicles, platooning of heavy vehicles, facilities along highways will be discussed, and the truck driver perspective will be presented. Solutions such as electric road systems, eco-driving strategies and alternative fuel solutions will also be addressed in this session.
